Toggling your device's power during sessions just got easier with the Killswitch, FK Irons' first ever power switch featuring an accelerometer sensor with no mechanical parts for complete wireless control. You can simply turn your device ON or OFF with just a tap of the device, and its built-in anti-slip mount allows it to stay in place. Connect the Killswitch with the Darklab app via Bluetooth to keep your device up-to-date with the latest firmware updates.
To Charge Killswitch: (Charge Killswitch for at least 5 hours before use) To charge, lift the rubber plug and connect an energized USB-C cable. When the USB-C is powered, the GREEN LED light will turn on and remain solid, it will turn OFF when the battery is fully charged. After Killswitch is charged, it is on automatically. To check, the LED light will blink PINK with each tap when NOT paired and the LED light will blink BLUE when it IS paired.
**There are two ways to Pair your device – On the device Manually and via Bluetooth with the Darklab iOS App – With the app you can control your device’s power, update the latest firmware and expand the features of the connected device. The Darklab App is Not Compatible with Android Devices**
To turn ON Killswitch: Press and hold the power button for 5-7 seconds, tap it at least five times to authenticate, the LED light will blink PINK with each tap, indicating it has not yet been paired.
To turn OFF Killswitch: Press and hold the power button until the GREEN LED light turns OFF (Around 10 seconds)
To Pair Killswitch with the Darklab App: In the app, Press [SCAN NEW DEVICES] and select Killswitch to connect. Once selected, it will automatically pair to the Darklab app. Click on Killswitch and update firmware if needed. In the App Press [SCAN NEW DEVICES] and select the device you wish to pair. Press your desired device to access its control screen, then select the settings menu in the lower right corner, and under Killswitch turn the sync [ON] Only one device can be connected to Killswitch at a time and will disconnect from any device when it’s charging.
To Manually Pair your device to Killswitch: Press and hold both voltage buttons until the LED light turns PINK. Tap Killswitch until its LED light turns BLUE, then continue tapping until Killswitch turns the device on and off with each tap.
To Manually UN-SYNC your device from Killswitch: Press and hold the device’s power button until the LED light turns PINK *The Order of LED COLORS are White, Blue, Green, Orange, Light Blue, then PINK* To re-sync, press and hold the power button until the LED light turns PINK.
To Manually UNPAIR your device from Killswitch: Press and hold both voltage buttons on your device until the LED light turns PINK and quickly flashes BLUE. then, press the voltage down button ONCE - the LED light will flash RED, indicating Killswitch has been unpaired.
